This talk focuses on the practical implementation of provisioning Kubernetes (K8s) clusters both on-premises and in the cloud using meshstack. We will explore how we have used building blocks in meshstack to enable users to efficiently create and manage their own K8s clusters in self-service. Attendees will learn about the technical setup, configuration, and deployment processes that make this possible, as well as the challenges and solutions encountered during implementation.

Michele Dodic, a Solution Architect at Accenture, has guided large enterprises in bringing Observability and AIOps into some of the most complex hybrid environments. In his keynote, he’ll share how platform teams can move from reactive monitoring to zero-touch AIOps—using telemetry, AI-driven anomaly detection, and automated remediation to reduce manual work. With real-world examples and a live demo, Michele will highlight best practices, common mistakes, and how AI-powered observability makes systems more resilient and self-operating.

In this special live recording of Platform Stories, Stefan Walker and Steffen Kohlhagen from Berenberg Bank will talk about their Platform Engineering experiences, the role of AI in Platform Engineering and Digital Sovereignty. Stefan is Head of the Architecture, Quality, and Cloud Transformation Department, with over two decades of experience in banking infrastructure. Steffen Kohlhagen is Head of Cloud Adoption and currently serves as Cloud Officer at the private bank Berenberg. He brings extensive experience across IT disciplines, including software development, product development, and IT security.

In this breakout session, Benjamin Schmidt, Cloud Solution Architect at IONOS with over 15 years of cloud experience, will demonstrate how to build an enterprise-ready AI chatbot from scratch using German open-source language models. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and AI function calling, and see how these techniques enable chatbots to integrate proprietary company data for more accurate, context-aware responses.
